EDI-TRANS
was foundet by Hans- Georg Maas in Frankfurt/ Main in 1981.
Conditional on the rapid growth and the amplification of the company grounds
EDI-TRANS
removed to Kelsterbach.
In 1988 Mr. Maas acquired the present- day company grounds and specifies Offenbach to the head quarters.
Within the opening of the frontier areas of the early DDR
EDI-TRANS
expanded.
In 1990 a branch office was foundet in Pirna near Dresden.
This branch office took over the early "Kraftverkehr" in 1992.
1996
EDI-TRANS
opened another branch office in Teplice in the Czech Republic to amplified on th transport market of the early Eastern bloc countries.
Today in all 35 cooperators are working for
EDI-TRANS
. From those 21 are working in Offenbach, 12 in Pirna and 2 in Teplice.
The sphere of action of
EDI-TRANS
is many- sided. 20 own trucks were constitute in short and long hauls all over the country and the adjoining states.
However the main emphasis of transport focuses on the destination in and from the newly- formed German states.
On 3500 sq.m stacking ground with alarm system in Offenbach and 4500 sq.m stacking ground in Pirna
EDI-TRANS
provides stock capacity to our customers until the goods reach there goal.
Because of the good association and cooperation with the customers ant the initiative of Mr. Maas more
and more new possibilities of further development of the company were found.
So we could always enlarge our service.
Today we effect commissioning and wage work for leading companies in Germany. This purview is a perfect
supplementation and a cost- saving possibility for our customer.
So he could focus on the production of his goods.
Also
EDI-TRANS
attachs importance to the vocational training of new forwarders.
Every year until four new trainees are starting there professional careers and become a forwarder or a warehouseman.
Mr. Maas became common currency as a determind and strong- willed person also in the trade association of forwarding service.
In 1991 the working group of young mercantitists voted Mr. Maas on the board.
Since 1997 he also is active in traffic committee of IHK Offenbach and in the board of the ASB Königstein.
He belongs to the committee of traffic trade Hessen e.V. since 2001.
